Storytime Kit Information

Basic Guidelines:

  1. Kits can be reserved.
  2. Limit 3 storytime kits at a time per library.
  3. Kits are loaned on a first-come, first-served basis.
  4. Loans are for one month, unless kits are in high demand.
  5. Storytime kits are for in-library use only.

Each kit contains 10 or more books, a toy or puppet, and a musical cassette or video. Books are fiction and non-fiction. Most kits have a board book and a pop-up book. Please take special care when using the fragile pop-up books. The materials are appropriate for a wide age range from babies to early school age.

Some kits have the same title in Spanish and English for you to share with your Spanish-speaking families. If you do not speak Spanish, ask a storytime parent, a childcare educator or someone who speaks Spanish to help you with your program.

For availability and borrowing contact Diane Jones at 800/468-4501.
