Law week A SUCCESS!

Another successful Law Week completed as part of the Pathway to Law Program in DFW sponsored by SBOT AALS, JL Turner Legal Association, and Texas A&M University School of Law. Students from David W. Carter High School in Dallas had the opportunity to gain insight into the practice of law from, and network with, several successful DFW minority attorneys, receive helpful tips on creating your brand with a law career in mind from Akerman’s Senior Branding and Community Engagement Manager, Jamese Cherry, obtain guidance from UTA Pre-Law students and TAMU Law students, and attend their first Torts mock class taught by one of TAMU Law’s best, Professor Neal Newman! Carter High students displayed remarkable enthusiasm and fervor for pursuing their passion and purpose, showcasing an eagerness to embark on a challenging, yet rewarding career in law.
